U.S. stocks dropped over Wednesday trading session as Wall Street indices ended the session lower.
🇺🇸 Nasdaq ended the day plunged -181.88 points or -1.15% lower to 15,683.37. While 🇺🇸 Dow 30 closed lower and down by -45.66 points or -0.12% to 37,753.31 and 🇺🇸 S&P 500 dropped -29.2 points or -0.58% lower to 5,022.21.
Investors seem wary ahead of key data in the coming days as there were no major U.S. economic news in the last session.
In the upcoming event, we may expect high volatility ahead of Initial Unemployment Insurance Claims to be released at 8:30am on Thursday (New York Time). Economists are expecting higher forecast compared to previous report.
Wall Street Top Gainers, Losers and Active Stocks
Top two gainers in the last trading session include United Airlines Holdings Inc (UAL) as the stock surged 17.45% to 48.74 while agilon health Inc (AGL) added 11.83% to 5.01.
Losers include Arm Holdings plc (ARM), erasing -11.99% from its share price to 107.56 and Powerschool Holdings Inc (PWSC) dropped -9.83% to 17.79.
Elsewhere, most active counters were Tesla Inc (TSLA), Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD) and United Airlines Holdings Inc (UAL).
