U.S. stocks rose over Monday trading session as Wall Street indices ended the first trading day of the week higher.
🇺🇸 Dow 30 ended the day up by 253.58 points or 0.67% higher to 38,239.98. While 🇺🇸 Nasdaq closed higher and up by 169.3 points or 1.11% to 15,451.31 and 🇺🇸 S&P 500 added 43.37 points or 0.87% higher to 5,010.60.
Investors seem to take positive cue as there were no major U.S. economic news in the last session.
There are no major U.S. economic data on Tuesday, though traders might be interested in New-Home Sales Change (1-mth) to be released at 10:00am (New York Time).
Wall Street Top Gainers, Losers and Active Stocks
Top two gainers in the last trading session include Riot Blockchain Inc (RIOT) as the stock surged 23.11% to 11.24 while MicroStrategy Incorporated (MSTR) added 12.77% to 1324.01.
Losers include Informatica Inc (INFA), erasing -10.51% from its share price to 31.49 and AngloGold Ashanti plc (AU) dropped -7.59% to 22.03.
Elsewhere, most active counters were Tesla Inc (TSLA), Ford Motor Company (F) and Nio Inc Class A ADR (NIO).
